Winter 2018 Newsletter
December 21, 2018

As 2018 comes to a close, we are overwhelmed by the support we have continued to receive from our partners and friends this year. The past 12 months at the Ellie Fund have been characterized by growth.

In January 2018, we launched our Metastatic Breast Cancer Support Program which extended the service offerings provided through our existing programs and includes specialized services to address the unique needs of patients diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer. In the first year of this new program, we received 254 applications from Metastatic Breast Cancer patients and we are proud to share that we were able to provide every patient with the critical services that they requested.

In the new year, our goal is to continue the growth that we started in 2018 by providing essential support to 1,000 breast cancer patients through service grants totaling 1 million dollars. We hope that you will continue to partner with us as we move closer to reaching this milestone.

As we look to 2019, we invite you to deepen your connection to the Ellie Fund as we continue to grow. Whether it's getting involved as a volunteer, buying a ticket to the Red Carpet Gala, or making a year-end gift to the Annual Fund, each will help the Ellie Fund continue to provide critical support services to local breast cancer patients and families.

On behalf of all of us at the Ellie Fund and the patients we serve, please accept our heartfelt thanks for your support.

Happy holidays to you and your family!

annualOur work is not possible without your support.

Because of your generosity, Kim and her family received grocery store gift cards while was undergoing treatment. In her words:

During this season of giving, we ask that you make a year-end gift to our Annual Fund . A donation today will help ease the burden of breast cancer treatment for patients like Kim and their families. With your help, we can strengthen our mission and make 2019 even more impactful!

Supporter Spotlight: ARS
We are deeply honored to have ARS Restoration Specialists (ARS) on Team Ellie! In an outpouring of generosity, ARS presented the Ellie Fund with an unprecedented donation of $325,000 at their annual holiday celebration on December 8.

Over the past 5 years, ARS has made contributions totaling over 1 million dollars. These funds have been instrumental in allowing the Ellie Fund to provide critical services to hundreds of breast cancer patients each year.

"We continue to be impressed by the generosity of so many clients and friends for ARS's charitable giving initiatives," says Steve Sorkin, ARS's Chief Sales Officer. "ARS is proud to continue to support the Ellie Fund's mission of providing services to patients and their families battling breast cancer."

This contribution will help jump start a year of continued growth for the Ellie Fund. Our goal is to provide critical support and hope to 1,000 breast cancer patients through service grants totaling 1 million dollars in 2019.  The generosity exhibited by ARS brings us one step closer to reaching this milestone.

Tickets and sponsorships are now available for ARS Restoration Specialists' 13th Annual Casino Night on Saturday, March 30, 2019 at Gillette Stadium.
