WELCOME
to an
Exciting New School Year!!!

Message from the Superintendent

Hello CUSD Family,

I am so excited about this new school year!  I am looking forward to working with each and every single one of you and together making a difference in our students lives.  Last year we had so many student accomplishments and success stories throughout our district, such as Enrique Camarena Jr. High School becoming a State and National Schools to Watch, Aurora becoming a Model Continuation High School, our Migrant Debate team competing and winning at the State level, our Culinary Art students competing and winning at the State and National level and our Circle of Friends program growing at all of our sites to promote inclusion. These are some of many of our accomplishments that we are extremely proud of.

I can’t wait to hear about the wonderful student success stories we’ll have this year because of your love, commitment and passion for our students.

This year we will be sharing our accomplishments District wide via a new newsletter using Constant Contact. I’ve asked some members of our district team to share a few words with you as we roll out and introduce our first newsletter.  We hope you enjoy it and look forward to upcoming newsletters.

God Bless You and Go Bulldogs!!
