RI LGBTQ+ Film Series: Death Drop Gorgeous
Providence Public Library’s Donald J. Farish Auditorium, 150 Empire Street, Providence
Join us for a screening of Death Drop Gorgeous - a campy drag exploitation horror film set in the seedy gay nightlife of Providence, RI. Inspired by Giallo films & 80's slashers, the movie balances dark humor, crime, mystery, and supernatural elements to create a unique cinema experience that has all the makings of a horror cult classic.
A discussion with filmmakers Michael J. Ahern, Christopher Dalpe, Brandon Perras-Sanchez, Wayne Gonsalves, and Ryan Miller will follow the film.

Show Us Your Pride Drag Bingo
Rhodes on the Pawtuxet, 60 Rhodes Pl. Cranston, RI
Forget everything you think you know about BINGO because Honey… this ain’t your Grandma’s Bingo! It's the most fun $25 you'll ever spend! Hosted by Haley Star and LaDiva Jonz
Drag queens, outlandish outfits, contests, and prizes with raunchy and ribald humor, Drag Bingo is not for the faint of heart. No one is safe and nothing is sacred but it is all in good fun. Drag Bingo is entering its twenty-fourth season, and like any bingo, it is a game of chance where participants try to create rows, columns, or special shapes on their grid of 5X5 numbers based on random numbers. Sponsors, Special guests, or the Drag Queens themselves call the numbers for each game. There are surprises galore so you never know what you are going to hear or see. “Special Games” are played throughout the night as well so there are many chances and ways to win.
Registration is strongly recommended at: [email protected]. Your registration should include your name, phone number and the number of people in your party. Registration is for headcount purposes ONLY and does not guarantee a seat if we reach capacity or if you arrive after 7pm. Seating is first-come, first-serve so please arrive as close to 5pm as possible on the Thursday of Drag Bingo. We are no longer able to take reservations for seating at the new location but there is no bad seat in the house. Alcohol is NOT allowed in the main ballroom.

Rhode Island PrideFest: Together Again!
12:00 pm - 7:00 pm | Providence Innovation District Park | Providence, RI
After a two-year pause due to the Covid pandemic, RI PrideFest is back and better than ever in the new Providence Innovation District Park on the other side of the Pedestrian Bridge. This spectacular event will feature over 200 vendors in the business marketplace, social resource organizations, food trucks, local, regional and national entertainment all day long, Hasbro Kid’s Zone, arts, and the Beer Wine & Spirits Garden. Enter the Festival either at the Dyer Street entrance or the Pedestrian Bridge.
PrideFest has always been fortunate to have members of the community offer their talents as performers and hosts. This year we have a special surprise as meteorologist KELLY BATES will be one of our guest hosts. Just recently, Kelly announced her return to ABC6 as one of the weather team however we are especially proud of her because of her openness and love for being a proud MamaBear to her trans daughter. Kelly joins John Kelly, Viza D. Klein, Dion Sage, Yung Onyx and Nielle Chic as hosts for this year's event!

Illuminated Night Parade
8:00 pm | Downtown Providence, RI | Route & Details @ prideri.org/parade
One of the annual highlights of Rhode Island Pride’s PrideFest celebration is the LGBTQIA+ Pride Illuminated Night Parade, New England’s only night parade! With a dazzling display of brightly lit-up floats, performing artists, marching groups, businesses, and tens of thousands of spectators, this incredible Pride Parade regularly makes national “top ten” lists and can’t be missed! For the best place to watch the Parade, we recommend the Main Reviewing Area, which is on Weybosset Street near the Providence Performing Arts Center. The energy in the City is electric, and we send an open invitation to everyone to participate in the weekend events that transform the City of Providence into a vibrant and visibly LGBTQIA+-supportive City.
