We have three open positions at FRLT! Our team makes forever impacts, continuing to protect the places that make the Feather River Watershed special. Check out these exciting roles and apply, or share with someone who might!


Public Programs Manager


Are you a creative leader passionate about community and connecting people to nature? This position will develop and implement engaging new public programs, with an emphasis on Sierra Valley and our new nature center at the Sierra Valley Preserve (opening in 2024). This role will also establish and oversee a new volunteer program at FRLT.


Conservation Easement Program Manager


Are you a natural resource professional passionate about conservation? Do you love GIS? We're looking for someone to manage our conservation easement program and conduct annual monitoring of conserved lands. This role is also responsible for mapping and managing GIS data and will assist with land protection and stewardship projects.


Sierra Valley Preserve Land Steward


Are you a hands-on team player who loves to work outside? We are looking for someone to assist with property maintenance at the Sierra Valley Preserve, including assisting in habitat restoration, vegetation management, sustainable grazing operations, site inspection and clean-up, and ensuring overall site-safety.

How to use E-bird

Learn with Plumas Audubon


Join PAS at the Quincy Library March 29 at 5:30pm to learn about the E-bird app and how to use it. A bird walk will occur from 6-7pm, after which participants will learn how to upload their observations and how E-bird can be used to explore local bird sightings.
