This film features emotional interviews of how people going through the trials of life found healing. Interviewees include William Paul Young, author of The Shack , Dan Allender, PhD, author of The Wounded Heart , and Spoken Word artist Jackie Hill Perry.  You don't want to miss this beautiful film. It also leads well into the workshop that we're offering two days later. See below!

Join LCI as Dr. Thompson presents:

Attachment: Shame and the Embodiment of Beauty...

Dr. Curt Thompson, the founder of the Center for Being Known and the author of The Anatomy of the Soul and The Soul of Shame, joins us to present helpful insight on attachment theory, with an emphasis on how to repair the brokenness we all experience in relationships.

LCI's Level 2 Practicum
The content covers topics such as: the goal of counseling, empathy, assessment, intervention, resistance, the role of trauma and loss, gender, turning points, and termination. The class is half lecture and half experiential. Many would say this is our best training program!

The Glorious Mess : Who We Are and How We Relate
Join us for our foundational training program that presents how we can grasp both our glory and our brokenness. The Glorious Mess is a full day of content, testimony, and exercises addressing the nature of man, suffering, change, conflict, need and desire, and how our stories fit into the Larger Story.

The Glorious Mess features Dr. Bill Clark and other LCI leaders and is open to anyone in relationships, especially in ministry. This course is a pre-requisite for anyone wanting to do lay counseling in the LCI framework.

The Glorious Mess : Lab Groups
Following every Glorious Mess Saturday training we offer optional 5 week labs to help you apply the concepts you learned at the Saturday training.

These labs start the week or two after the main training and involve 4-6 members with 2 trained group leaders. Specific homework assignments allow attendees to experience more of the training and share from their own life and story with others. It includes sharing, listening exercises, and personal feedback.

The labs meet at various times and sites depending on the preference of each team of leaders. for more information, click here.
