Executive Order Strengthening Workers’ Compensation Claims for Essential Workers Impacted by COVID-19
On Friday, Governor Ned Lamont announced that he has signed an  executive order  creating a rebuttable presumption that workers who contracted COVID-19 in the early days of the pandemic contracted it on the job and are eligible for workers’ compensation benefits.

The Economic Injury Disaster loan program is open through December 31 for applications, however, funds may run out. The EIDL Advance was exhausted, but the loan is flexible in its uses and has a longer repayment term, which may assist you with the working capital to support your business in this changing environment.
