Executive Vice President to Leave CALF Jan. 31

California Ag Leadership Foundation (CALF) Executive Vice President Abby Taylor-Silva (45) has announced her resignation, effective Jan. 31, to pursue a new opportunity to make a positive impact on California agriculture.

Since joining the foundation in November 2020, Taylor-Silva has led various team operations and collaborated closely with CALF President and CEO Dwight Ferguson to achieve strategic growth and development across the foundation's five critical priority areas.

"Abby has been an extraordinary asset to the foundation since joining the staff team four years ago, and I feel the deepest respect and gratitude for her positive impact," said Ferguson. "She has been a true servant leader to Ag Leadership, going above and beyond to ensure the success of all of our foundation, program and alumni efforts. Please join me in wishing Abby much continued success as she furthers her leadership journey."

Said Taylor-Silva, “I remain committed to the foundation's vision and I am grateful for the organization's investment in me as a program fellow and staff member. I look forward to supporting CALF's mission as an engaged and dedicated alum in the years ahead. I deeply appreciate the collaborative spirit of our foundation and its community of leaders. Thank you to all for making my time here such a rewarding experience.”

CALF is not planning to backfill the executive vice president position. If you have any questions, please contact Dwight Ferguson at dferguson@agleaders.org or 831-585-1030.
