EXERCISE OF THE MONTH

Build and Fit PVC Cart

PVC can be used to build standing frames or rolling carts in a wide range of small animal sizes. This allows rehab teams to provide not just dogs and cats, but also exotics, with options for mobility assistive devices. GoGoCharlie provides three separate exercise instructions for PVC carts: Parts, How to Build, How to Fit.

How to Build a PVC Cart
PVC Cart How to Fit Rabbit

To place your rabbit in the PVC cart:

1. Secure the rabbit harness and attach a leash to the harness

2. Lift the rabbit from the harness and the pelvis beneath the tail. (From the tail, place the fingers between the back legs)

3. Lower into the cart making sure the x-part of the sling is between the back legs so the limbs are each provided with support from the sling.

4. Secure the leash to the front top bar.

5. Loosen or tighten the sling straps to allow the paws to rest on the floor.

*Once the correct length is achieved, secure in place with tape
