To date, DEMA Show 2020 is still scheduled for November 4-7 in New Orleans, LA. Given the current COVID-19 pandemic, we understand the concerns of exhibitors and attendees. It is DEMA’s goal to do what is best for the industry and to continue providing services to our Members.
To that end, all remaining DEMA Show liability payment deadlines have been extended by the DEMA Board of Directors.
The 60% liability deadline for DEMA Show 2020 has been extended further to June 15, 2020.
The 100% liability deadline will also be extended, with the final date to be determined by the DEMA Board.
We are closely monitoring our New Orleans information sources to bring the most up to date facts to you regarding hosting events there. Regarding the recommendations provided by New Orleans Mayor LaToya Cantrell on April 14, DEMA has reached out to our sources in New Orleans for clarification. It is our current understanding that these comments were recommendations regarding several large city-wide festivals rather than an executive order for all 2020 events. DEMA will continue to monitor the situation and will advise our members and the industry as additional decisions are made about the staging of the Show.
DEMA has provided a resource collection with information on the COVID-19 update, including guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control and World Health Organization, as well as pertinent articles helpful to handling business and travel concerns. That page is updated daily and can be found

We sincerely hope these extensions provide some breathing space for exhibitors as the outbreak impacts their business operations and decisions for moving forward are determined.
