EXHIBITOR INFORMATION
Thanks for signing up for next week's SPPA Fall Showcase. In spite of the pandemic, it looks like we’re going to have a great show. We all know that shows won’t be the same for a while and attendance may suffer, that’s why we committed early on to offering options that will insure you receive optimal exposure for your brand and products. I’m happy to report that between those who have registered to attend in-person or virtually, pre-registration numbers are solid for the show!
  • 86 distributor in-person
  • 30 client in-person
  • 49 Virtual Experience
  • 56 Tradeshow in a Box
  • 221 Total Pre-Registration

Below is the information you need for the show, including information on how the Virtual Experience will work. Please review it carefully and let us know if you have any questions.

Please be aware that some of the times have changed from what we originally announced so that we can accommodate the Virtual Experience.

This is an end-user show! Although we won’t have the number of clients we usually do, you still need to be careful and make sure you don’t exchange contact information with any end-user or have anything with contact information on your table. You also need to make sure that any literature you have has coded pricing or no pricing at all. Click here to read a copy of our Code of Conduct.

We hope our show is productive for you. Should you need anything, please don't hesitate to call one of us.

This is an End-Buyer (Client) Show

The SPPA Fall Showcase is an end-buyer show. Please assume that you are always talking to an end-buyer. The badges are clearly marked either "Distributor" or "Client." Make sure that everything in your booth is appropriate for end-buyers - no business cards, line sheets, coded pricing only.

All end-buyers will have clipboards and lead sheets. They will turn their sheets into the registration desk or their distributor before they leave. If they are interested in something you have, please help provide them with the information they need to give their distributor. We'll also give you a few lead sheets for "hot" leads that you want to keep a record of.

Please make sure you're familiar with our Code of Conduct for SPPA-sponsored shows.
Food Service

An on-site concession stand is available on the show floor.
Virtual Experience

All exhibitors at the SPPA Fall Showcase will participate in the Virtual Experience. We’re bringing in a professional film crew to make sure this is one of the best virtual presentations that’s been done in the industry! Here’s how it will work:

  • Between 9 and 11am we will broadcast live from the Hoover Met.
  • The film crew will come to each exhibitor and you’ll have 5 minutes to do your presentation. They will clip a microphone on you to make sure the audio is good and those watching can hear you.
  • You’ll need to make sure your booth is setup and have a game plan for what you’re going to show so that you can make sure it’s easy to access.
  • Your name and contact number will be scrolling across the bottom of the screen for the convenience of those watching.
  • Distributors will be able to ask questions during the live presentation via chat and you can answer them on the air.
  • All presentations will be recorded individually and will be available for our members to access on demand after the show. We’ll also include a link for distributors to contact you and download and sale/promotional flyers.

What we need before the show:
  1. Email your company logo to show@sunbeltppa.org
  2. Your sale/promotional flyers. You can email the pdfs to show@sunbeltppa.org or send us a URL where distributors can access them.

If you don’t want to participate in the Virtual Experience or would like to us a pre-recorded presentation, please contact us ASAP.

Tradeshow in a Box

Distributors who aren’t comfortable attending the show in person can register to receive a “Tradeshow in a Box.” The boxes can be picked up at the Hoover Met during show hours or can be shipped to them. There is no charge for exhibitors to participate in this program and currently 56 distributors have signed up to receive a box. Plan on having enough items for 75 boxes.

  • Each exhibitor can place either one catalog or six flyers in the box for each table purchased. i.e. if you purchased two tables, you can insert two catalogs and 12 flyers.
  • Each exhibitor can also place up to two samples in the box for each table purchased. Make sure that distributors can tell where each sample came from – it would be a good idea to tag them or bag them with your catalog and flyers.
  • The boxes will be pre-assembled and you’ll need to place your items in the boxes by 11am. You’ll need to wear gloves while you do this – we’ll have some available.
