Dear all,

Over the last 9 months we've been working with partners to develop a greater understanding of the breadth and depth of Exmoor's rural economy and to better understand business views. The final report bringing this together is being finalised by Wavehill and offers a thorough analysis of the Exmoor economy in with a level of detail previously unavailable.

Of course the impact of Covid-19 on our rural economy is going to be very significant. To have an up to date baseline of data pre Covid-19 is incredibly helpful, but we also want to gain a better understanding of the impacts and potential changes to this baseline.

We are therefore conducting a short survey to understand the impact on local businesses of the Covid 19 Pandemic in the National Park and how we and partners might be able to support you over the coming months. We appreciate your time is limited, and would be grateful if you could help us to help you, your community and the wider National Park by sharing what you can. Your answers and any details you give us will be anonymised and treated in the strictest confidence.

We are aware that many of you may have been approached to complete several similar surveys at a local or regional level. However this is our only way of getting a true picture of the specific issues facing the rural economy on Exmor at this time.

Best wishes

Dan James
