I write to inform you of an exciting update regarding the Parish Development Grants Cycle for the upcoming year 2024. In response to the growing needs of our parishes, the Diocese of New Westminster will be offering Parish Development Grants twice in the upcoming year, marking a change from our previous annual offering.
Parish Development Grants will now be available during two distinct periods in 2024 (the spring and fall), providing enhanced opportunities for your parish initiatives to receive support. Here are the process details for both offerings:
First Offering:
- Application Deadline: Submit full applications by March 1, 2024.
- Review of Applications: Scheduled for Saturday, March 9, 2024.
- Online Parish Interviews: Conducted on May 4th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Submission of Recommendations: To the administrators of AIF by May 27, 2024.
- Decision Relay: Approved applicants will be notified by June 20, 2024.
Second Offering:
- Application Deadline: Submit full applications by September 6, 2024.
- Review of Applications: Scheduled for Saturday, September 21, 2024.
- Online Parish Interviews: Conducted on October 26th, 2024, from 9:00 am to 4:30 pm.
- Submission of Recommendations: To the administrators of AIF by December 1, 2024.
- Decision Relay: Applicants will be notified by December 20, 2024.
