11th Annual Expedition
Mt. Kinabalu
June 10-11th
Thank you for being part of this amazing adventure, and for being part of our international team climbing Mt Kinabalu, the summit of Borneo, to raise global awareness and funding to find treatments and a cure for Duchenne.
Firstly, we need you to make your way to the Malaysian island of Borneo, to Kota Kinabalu!
This is a 3 day/2 nights inclusive climb, accommodation for 2 nights, all meals, transport to and from Kinabalu Park HQ, guide fees, climbing fees, insurance, transport to base camp, flag off refreshments and cultural show hosted by the Sabah Minister of Tourism, screening of multi award winning documentary Dusty’s Trail: Summit of Borneo, inspirational talk by four- time Everest conqueror Ravi Everest who will also be joining us for the climb, a limited edition Coalition Duchenne t-shirt (you just need to get yourself to Kota Kinabalu in Malaysian Borneo!).
Duchenne typically affects 1 in 3500 males worldwide and Coalition Duchenne’s mission is to raise awareness and fund research. We work hard to provide boys in SE Asia access to research and trials. Our outreach initiative is helping families in rural areas around the world.
