Subject: Important Update - Experience: The Alliance Houston Conference Security Measures

Dear Alliance Family,
We hope this memo finds you well. We're writing to provide you with an update on the security measures being implemented for our upcoming national conference, Experience: The Alliance Houston. As an organization, we understand the importance of prioritizing the safety and security of all participants, including our members, volunteers, Staff, Board, and hotel.
While it is impossible to guarantee absolute safety and security for any event, we want to assure you that we are taking this matter seriously and working diligently to ensure a successful and memorably safe conference in Houston. We have taken several steps to address any potential concerns and have collaborated with various law enforcement agencies and authorities at multiple levels.
The LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance is working closely with the Mayor's office of Houston, Harris County Sheriff's Department, Houston Police Department, Homeland Security, the National Security Agency (NSA), and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). This collaboration allows us to utilize their expertise, resources, and support to enhance the security arrangements for our event.
It is important for us to acknowledge the current state of affairs in our country, recognizing the challenges and concerns faced by our community. However, we firmly believe that now, more than ever, it is crucial to support our friends in Houston and maintain Houston as a safe space within Texas for our community.
In light of these circumstances and our efforts, we have decided to proceed with our conference in Houston and have taken appropriate measures to secure both the event and its facilities. By collaborating with law enforcement agencies, we aim to minimize any potential risks and provide a safe and inclusive environment for all attendees.
Please be assured that your safety and security are our utmost priority. We understand the significance of this event and the positive impact it can have on our community. By working together with local and national authorities, we are striving to create an environment where everyone can feel welcome, supported, and empowered.
We will be releasing a series of statements and protocols in the coming weeks to provide you with more detailed information regarding the security measures that will be in place during the conference. We encourage you to stay updated through our official channels and communication platforms.
Thank you for your continued support, dedication, and trust in the LGBTQ+ Real Estate Alliance. Together, we will make Experience: The Alliance Houston a resounding success and a beacon of hope for our community.
Early bird registration is open now, and our speakers are in place! The tentative agenda and speaker announcements will start hitting your email in June!
Should you have any questions, concerns, or suggestions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us. We value your input and are committed to addressing any queries you may have.

Yours in pride,
