The Most Wonderful Time of the Year!

In the 1910s and 1920s, holiday décor was often limited to a Christmas tree adorned with tinsel, crepe paper, glass balls, and candles. A wealthier family like Tom and Olive Plant might have even had a few strands of electric Christmas lights. We don’t know exactly how the Plants celebrated Christmas, but it’s safe to say the decorations for this year’s Christmas at the Castle will be a little more elaborate than what they would have had.
