A Look Ahead: Coming up in Lititz in 2024

Here in Lititz, we're gearing up for a new year filled with fresh reasons to celebrate our sweet town.

Coming soon is one of our favorite reasons to gather - Lititz Fire & Ice! We're busy planning the event, which runs from February 16th to the 25th. Click here to learn about the festival, which includes our third annual preview party - Winter's Coolest Night Out, the return of the Lititz Lions Chili Cook-off, tons of giant sculptures, our kid-focused Winter Funderland, an artistic take on a Fire Show, a Maker's Market, our Local Eyes Photography Exhibit, and a special Sunday Funday to end the event.

After Fire & Ice, we'll be eager to welcome warmer weather and the return of our other favorite events, including Taste of Lititz in June, Lititz Springs Park's July 4th Celebration, the Lititz Rotary Craft Show, Chocolate Walk, and more. To see all of our events, visit our event calendar.

During this year’s Fire & Ice Festival, we are once again celebrating moments frozen forever in time. Our 3rd annual showcase of local photography focuses on life in Lititz – through your eyes.

New this year? We're making our photo exhibition digital! Without printing parameters, entries can be sent in their original size, allowing you to give us the image in its strongest form. The digital format also allows us to eliminate all printing costs, making this contest completely free for every entrant. We'll share the show on Downtown Lititz on Facebook, LititzPA on Instagram, LititzPA.com, and we'll also find creative ways to showcase the very best images during our Fire & Ice Festival.

The Best of 2023: We're Looking Back with a Smile

2023 gave us so many reasons to feel hopeful about our future. Among our favorites? The additions of Lancaster Flower Co. and New Holland Coffee Co to Broad Street. These two new businesses add color and flavor to our downtown, with gifts and blooms at Lancaster Flower Co. and coffees, brews, and food at New Holland Coffee Co. Also on Broad Street, Chilangos Authentic Mexican Restaurante added a brand new outdoor patio for diners to enjoy. A few blocks away on South Cedar Street, Rooster Street changed ownership, added a craft brewery, and is now in contention for the title of the best new brewery in PA. Vote to hand Rooster Street the title here.

Lititz was also busy getting positive press! In 2023, Venture Lititz once again earned national accreditation with Main Street America and won another statewide Townie Award, this time for creating a vision and core values to center our work. We also launched the free Experience Lititz app, available for Android and iPhone users (for more info, click the photo below). Thanks for the great times, 2023!
