Celebrating 25 Years of Dosie Dough

Amy Lloyd was just 18 years old when she purchased Dosie Dough from her mother in 1998. Back then, her mom's one requirement was that Amy stick with it for 5 years. She met that requirement, and more.

For the last 25 years, Dosie Dough has served as a community hub, a place to meet friends and to fuel up before a busy work day. While this community focus hasn't changed over time, what's being served up and the community it serves sure have.

Lititz has grown, adding new shops, restaurants and more residents...and Dosie Dough has grown with it. Amy recalls that when she took ownership her kitchen was like a small closet. Today, a kitchen expansion and renovation is nearing completion, coffee is more popular than ever with variations we never could have dreamed of 2 decades ago, and the breakfast and lunch menu is more extensive...and delicious!

So while Dosie Dough has passed through many stages as it has grown, Amy treasures most the stages she's seen her customers pass through. "To watch them grow up, start families, move away and come back, retire, and so much more, feels like the real meaning of community; relationships over time. That sense of community is not unique to Dosie Dough, it is what makes Lititz such an incredibly special place to live and work."

We wholeheartedly agree.
