Dear friends, it is raining lightly in Portland today, but it has been the driest April on record. I am feeling for the preciousness of water and for our unshed tears, our tears of grief, pain, rage, fear and our tears of joy.
As we navigate these pressured times, how are you finding sources of fluidity and flow? Where are you able to quench your thirst, to cool your roots, to draw on life giving water so you can unfold your leaves to the sun?
I dreamt recently about swimming far out in the ocean, around the southern edge of the African continent, following a dark blue path in the water. It was very isolated, far from land, but it gave me an unexpected sense of connection, of being carried by the deep currents that connect all the parts of our precious, beautiful planet.
Next month, June 19th, is a chance to commemorate the end of state sanctioned slavery in the US. Juneteenth is a day to celebrate the emancipation and liberation of African Americans after the atrocities of enslavement. The deep current of liberation, justice and healing needs our attention, needs our contributions, needs our tears of joy, rage and grief to flow into action.
What are you dreaming, doing and feeling these days?
Join us for resources and support in our next free monthly webinar where Ingrid Rose will explore the magic of altered states - an exploration of parallel worlds, Thursday June 3rd, 10am Pacific time.
And save the date and join us on June 28 to celebrate our graduating MAPOF students in their online commencement ceremony, more details coming soon.
Finally, don't miss out - LAST CHANCE to join Arny live on Friday evening Pacific time, May 21st, working with participants on real issues arising in their professional and personal facilitation practice.
Sending love from all of us at the Process Work Institute

The art of facilitating individuals and organizations is not only a matter of skills...but a matter of the way our skills are brought to life through our unique styles. Though your particular style is one of your greatest gifts, it is often not well known to you!
In this class, we will explore a central aspect of your unique facilitation style. You will experience your style in the form of a special "SONG" that arises out of your deepest nature. When you consciously "tune into" that song, you will discover greater creativity, less burnout, and your skills will be more effective.

Processwork is a modality inspired by indigenous knowledge, and we offer our respect to the elders, past and present, who have stewarded the land and indigenous knowledge and practices for generations.
We acknowledge the land where we are privileged to be based, now called Portland, Oregon in Multnomah County, as the traditional lands of the Multnomah, Kathlamet, Clackamas, bands of Chinook, and other tribes who made their homes along the Columbia River.
We pay our respects to the resilient and proud communities of native people currently living here and recognize the devastating histories of colonization and systemically racist policies that have impacted and continue to impact indigenous peoples here and around the world. We work towards a world where respect for indigenous people, culture, knowledge and practices, creates the basis for a vibrant, diverse and just community.

THE MAGIC OF ALTERED STATES: AN EXPLORATION OF PARALLEL WORLDS AND THE GIFTS THEY OFFER
with Ingrid Rose
June 3rd, 10-11am PT
This webinar will offer an opportunity for folks to explore a variety of states of consciousness that are outside of our normal awareness. These are often ways of experiencing and perceiving that we long for and get to through such things as addictions, creativity, ecstasy, illness and near-death experiences. They also often happen to us where our tendency is to marginalize them as they are unfamiliar to our usual ways of being. We will be exploring through theory, demonstrations and exercises.
