Join us for a truly unique “Woolly Weekend” — where farm, faith, and fiber come together.

Sheep Shearing Demonstrations:

Live shearing every 30 minutes, all three days

Last demonstration begins at 6:15 PM

See firsthand how fleece becomes fabric

Witness the ‘Sheep to Shawl’ Process:

The first wool shorn Thurs. morning becomes a finished shawl by Sat. evening!

Event Details:

Suggested donation: $5 per person

Pick up a ticket on arrival for admission to the shearing floor

Rain or shine — most activities are indoors

Demonstrations throughout the day on spinning wheels, carding, weaving, felting, drop spindling, knitting and crochet.

Watch as the wool is shorn from the sheep (a simple hair cut!), and is made in to usable products - a shawl or other wool product - right before your eyes - washed, spun, woven, knit & crochet. 

Experience the shepherds and shepherdesses shearing. This is not a speed competition, but the work of real working, caring shepherds.
