Burlington Waterfront Sculpture Trail 


More than 50 sculptural works by Canadian artists line the downtown waterfront, retail district and inside businesses for six weeks during the free Burlington Waterfront Sculpture Trail festival. Open 24/7, you can explore on your own, take a guided Tuesday Tour, explore two Friday Night Lights events or a virtual reality version. Special rates with local hotels can turn a daytrip into an immersive cultural weekend.

Cherry Blossom Viewing


Supported by its 36-year twinning agreement with Itabashi, Japan, Burlington proudly celebrates spring and the centuries-old Japanese tradition of hanami or cherry blossom viewing at Spencer Smith Park downtown and at the Royal Botanical Gardens starting at the end of April. Blooms are weather dependent, so stay tuned to our socials for updates.

Art Gallery of Burlington

Home to the largest collection of Canadian ceramics, the Art Gallery of Burlington is free to visit Tuesdays - Sundays. Check out artist Misbah Ahmed’s Dry Thunder or the Time Isn’t Real exhibitions ending this month. Mark your calendars for the May 10th 50th anniversary block party.
