You're Invited to the July 4th Exhibit Opening at Museum of Friends

Brendt Berger: Beavers of the Huerfano, 1970–2025

Kenny Schneider: Small Works, 1966–2018

Opening Celebration: Thursday, July 4 | 2–4 PM

Museum of Friends | 600 Main Street, Walsenburg, CO

We’re excited to welcome you to an extraordinary dual retrospective, celebrating 100 years of creative vision from two remarkable artists. These exhibits explore personal histories, place-based narratives, and artistic reinvention across five decades each.

Brendt Berger’s Beavers of the Huerfano reveals a lifetime of experimental process and deep reflection, while Kenny Schneider’s Small Works showcases five decades of design and expressive abstraction. Join us for this free, all-ages opening celebration, a festive afternoon of art, conversation, and connection with artists, Brendt Berger and Kenny Schneider, MoF Friends and Team, and Tomas Shash and Drum Circle from the Atzlan Cultural Center.
