Treasure! Exhibit | Now Open!
The word treasure sparks imagination for everyone, no matter their age. Exhibit highlights include: 
  • Explore the history and technology behind treasure hunting. 
  • Discover the world of underwater treasure, gold rushes, buried treasure, modern treasure hunts, and more. 
  • Hands-on activities that allow you to investigate your own treasure. 
  • Real artifacts from shipwrecks and other treasure sites.

Treasure! is open during regular museum hours and has an additional cost, $3 - $5 per person, in addition to general museum admission. Treasure! is presented by Flagstar Bank.

Full Moon, Super Moon | June 14
The Moon will be located on the opposite side of the Earth as the Sun and its face will be fully illuminated. This is also the first of two Super Moons for 2022.

June Solstice | June 21 
The North Pole of the earth will be tilted toward the Sun. This is the first day of summer (summer solstice) in the Northern Hemisphere and the first day of winter (winter solstice) in the Southern Hemisphere.
