Fabulous Testimonials from people who have stayed with us in Morocco
“It’s just brilliant. I love it – the whole vibe in the well-designed garden, the buildings, and the sustainable aspect of it all. The staff are incredible, all caring, kind, diligent and willing to do whatever it takes to make your stay perfect. The food is truly delicious, fantastic for vegetarians and meat-eaters too, as well as offering tea/coffee at any time by helping yourself. Relaxed, with the smell of the beautifully planted garden at night, and a well-stocked library so I can read all day long by the pool. Heaven!”
“La Maison Anglaise is really beautiful, impeccably kept and nurtured by you and your delightful Moroccan team there. All of the staff, without exception were wonderful – helpful, courteous and so very happy all the time. They looked after our every need, and nothing was too much trouble for them. The gardens are a real delight, the pool is gorgeous, and the meals were all delicious. The trips out and other activities that the staff took us on were a treat, and we all felt very safe with your careful drivers and guides”.
"We have just returned from our wonderful holiday in Taroudant where we soaked up the warmth and sun in the new Ecolodge. Our welcome and hospitality was magnificent and we were delighted to meet Latifa, Said and the super friendly staff again. We are lost in admiration for what you have achieved in the new complex and the sustainable and environmental standards to which you have adhered. We thoroughly enjoyed the standard, variety and presentation of the meals which were simply outstanding."

Painting with Louise Waugh 13 - 20 November 2024
Embark on an inspiring artistic adventure where your days will be filled with tutored sessions in painting and sketching at some of the most captivating locations in and around Taroudant.
Your creative journey begins with morning sessions at our innovative garden ecolodge, and you have the option to choose excursions where you will dive into the rich local culture of Morocco. Be inspired to discover a new palette of colours and get “under the skin” of this vibrant country.
“I find it inspirational: particularly the shapes and vibrant colours of the people in djellabas, the details of the souks and fruit sellers, the beautiful interior patio garden of an old hotel where we paint and the landscape for all those ochre colours in your paintbox unused in our British greenness! Painting and drawing is not just about representation; it’s about expressing all the senses whether in colour, texture or figuratively and Morocco will give you all this!”
Louise Waugh, Tutor since 2014.
