You Are Invited...Following Palm Sunday, Holy Week leads us through the journey to Easter Day, and helps us to experience the love of Jesus in our lives, our work, our homes, and together at St Francis.
Thurs, April 18— Maundy Thursday—6:30pm. The Parish Hall becomes the Upper Room. A simple supper plus short service includes foot-washing, and Holy Communion, then moving to the church for washing and anointing of the Altar.

12:00 noon—Stations of the Cross
7:00pm—Service of Light to Darkness, with candles, music, and anointing with Holy Oil.
Sat, April 20—The Great Easter Vigil—7:30pm
Considered by many to be the most important service of the year, the Easter candle is lit from the first fire of Easter.
Sun, April 21—Easter Day—8am and 10am worship. Full choir, with brass and organ, and Easter Egg Hunt following 10am.
Parking on Easter Sunday for 10am
Our welcome begins in the parking lot!
We all know that parking is tough at the 10am service on Easter Day. Two thoughts - if you are not disabled, there are plenty of places to park for free just 5 to 10 minutes away round the corner at Paseo de la Playa. Or even consider a cab, or Uber or Lyft perhaps and save yourself the entire driving and parking hassle!

Children's Choir
Is this the season to begin a children's choir at St Francis? Some families have asked that very question. In order to have a choir we need at least 10 young singers who can commit to the time. Do you know any children who would like to be part of this adventure? Please let Jeannie Cobb know. The choir would begin in September, and would rehearse either on Thursday afternoons or on Sundays after church. Join the conversation! Jeannie.
