NCLGS attendance continues to grow; the recent summer meeting in Denver had an attendance of more than 300 people, including a NCLGS-record of more than 100 legislators and regulators. All NCLGS meetings are open to the public.
NCLGS, founded more than a quarter-century ago, is the only organization of state lawmakers that meets on a regular basis to discuss issues related to gaming. NCLGS neither promotes nor opposes gaming but is focused on proper regulation and promoting best practices in the governance of this important industry.
The four-day conference will include 12 sessions chaired by legislative leaders from around the country. Included in the program will be opening addresses by distinguished VIPs, a luncheon keynote, and two evening networking receptions. NCLGS leadership also will extend attendees the opportunity to enjoy an “Afternoon at the Races” on Friday, January 5, hosted by 1/ST Racing and Gulfstream Park.
Once again, the Sports Betting Regulators Association (SBRA) will be co-locating at NCLGS. SBRA will host a two-hour session open to all attendees prior to the opening reception on January 3.
