Many of our female students began their summers by doing good for others, while being enlightened and informed about the Appalachia region of West Virginia. Under the guidance of Mrs. Collins and Ms. Pagano, the girls spent a week in the region helping farmers through the P.A.T.C.H. program, split wood at a service site, learned how mountain top removal due to strip mining is killing the ecosystem throughout the entire valley, and spent time hiking to enjoy God's wonderful beauty. "The people I met in Appalachia reminded me of loved ones that I have lost and helped me to find them again," said Kaitlyn Rezabek ‘20.
Mrs. Collins added. "“Our trip to Appalachia was absolutely extraordinary. The girls were great, they accepted all the education that was put before them, and forged relationships with the residents that will be irreplaceable." Each girl has already stated they would like to return to West Virginia on next year's immersion trip. Thank you to each and every one of them for living out Trinity's mission of developing Servant Leaders!

Enjoy Summer but Don't Forget...
|
We hope you are all enjoying your Summer break, but don't forget there is work to be done. There are summer reading and writing assignments that need to be completed before returning to the classroom in August. You can easily find those assignments on the home page of our website,
ths.org. Just click the link under "Information for Website Visitors." It is here where you can also find the online version of the

The
Trojans softball program will be well represented this summer when the Cleveland squad sets out to take on all-star teams from all over the world in the
MLB RBI World Series. Lexi Dusek '20, Naudia Mendez '20, and Kayleigh Burke '19, were all selected to travel to Indianapolis from July 25-29. If Cleveland can win their region against teams from Cincinnati, St. Louis, Minneapolis, Milwaukee and many other cities, they will advance to the World Series in August. Cleveland has advanced to the World Series nine times, winning the title in 2015 and losing in the finals to the Dominican Republic in 2016. Good luck to our girls and the
Cleveland Baseball Federation
