Do you serve gifted and talented (G/T) students?

Have you taken the required G/T training or are you in need of a 6-hour update?

A Counselor's Guide to Supporting Gifted Students

The Texas State Plan for the Education of Gifted/Talent Students requires counselors who work with G/T students to complete a 6-hour G/T training that includes nature and needs of G/T students, service options for G/T students, and social emotional learning (5.9).

The sessions below fulfill these requirements.

Engage in activities designed to bring clarity to the definition of giftedness, the unique needs of gifted learners, and the Texas State Plan.
