EDGAR RICE BURROUGHS 150 BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION in
Wilcox, AZ.
| | | Renowned author Edgar Rice Burroughs' Calvary Service will be memorialized in Willcox, AZ for his 150 by the Sulphur Springs Valley Historical Society & Apache Devils chapter of the Burroughs Bibliophiles. | | |
Burroughs is the renowned author of Tarzan of the Apes, John Carter of Mars and The land That Time Forgot. The monument dedication will take place at the Willcox Southern Pacific train station in downtown Willcox from 10:00 am to Noon, September 25. All other convention events will take place at the Elks Lodge #2131 and will include panel discussions, guest of honor and author Jeffrey J. Mariotte, a banquet, Tarzan movie screenings, and additional speakers.
