QGreenland Website & Teach Resource Updates

Explore the revamped website and teaching resources for QGreenland | image of QGreenland logo in red - which is a magnifying glass with an outline of Greenland in the middle | Image of fjord in Greenland in the background | Image by Mariama Dryák-Vallies

The new QGreenland website has been officially launched and has a new style and feel! More specifically, all of the educational resources on the 'Teach' page of the QGreenland website have been put into a standardized template that makes it super easy to skim and understand the possible utility of a resource, along with how a resource may or may not fit into your teaching plans.

This template for educational resources includes the following:

  • A short, one-paragraph activity summary
  • Clearly outlined learning goals and outcomes
  • Tags describing audience-level for the resource
  • Any alignments of the lesson with educational standards (e.g., Next Generation of Science Standards and Polar Literacy Principles) that we are aware of
  • Duration of the lesson/resource(s)
  • Context for use

And so much more!!

We encourage you to explore it for yourself, here: https://qgreenland.org/teach. And stay tuned, as we will be adding more teaching resources to this webpage in the months to come!

QGreenland at AGU

Meet the QGreenland team at AGU | Twila is shown wearing a pink hat and smiling at the camera, next to Mariama who is shown wearing a blue hat with fish on it and smiling at the camera. Both women have short brown hair, fair skin and freckles. A landscape of a Greenland Fjord is in the background.

Members of the QGreenland team, Twila Moon and Mariama Dryák-Vallies are going to the AGU Annual Meeting to be hosted in San Francisco, California, in December.

Ask us all about QGreenland educational resources and example use cases for the QGreenland data package shared on our website at our poster presentation on Wednesday, December 9, 2026 from 14:15 - 17:45 PT! You'll be able to find us in the South Poster Hall (Hall ABC) (MC).

We hope to see you there!
