Teams in Matrix

Matrix has a convenient function to accommodate agents working together as a team. You can add one – or several – teammates, allowing them to toggle between themselves and you while using Matrix. With this feature, your teammates will see your version of Matrix, which includes the ability to view saved searches and auto-emails, and provides editing capabilities. The team function should also be used to add admins or transaction coordinators so they can update listings, set up showing appointments and manage your transactions. Access is easy to manage, so you can even give someone temporary access if they are covering you for a short period of time like during a vacation.

Teams in SentriLock

SentriLock also has a function for teams. This allows you and your team members to:

·        Access each other's lockboxes

·        Assign lockboxes to properties as needed

·        Grant lockbox access through SentriConnect

Teams in TransactionDesk

While your teammate can access your TransactionDesk through the Links menu, we also suggest you add them through the Teams/Share feature in your TransactionDesk settings.

Scheduling for a Team Member in ShowingTime

The team function in Matrix also allows you to schedule a showing for your teammates. Under the Working As view, the Schedule A Showing link in the 360 Property View will create a showing appointment in the agent’s name that you are working under. This is particularly helpful when assistants or transaction coordinators are managing your calendar.

Additionally, in ShowingTime, you can change the Showing Agent to an agent in your office by selecting the blue button in the My Profile pane after choosing a listing in ShowingTime.

Showing Permissions

While working as a team allows some flexibility when covering showings, remember that listing permissions do not automatically transfer to your teammates. If you have a showing appointment scheduled in your name, you may not transfer showing permissions to a teammate or other agent without letting the listing agent know first. Call, email or text the listing agent prior to the showing to let them know of any changes in your showing appointment. If the appointment is made through ShowingTime, you can add a teammate’s name to your showing appointment.

Co-Listings

CVR MLS co-listing rules were recently changed to allow some flexibility for agents working in the same firm. As of January 2023, agents within a Virginia CoOp firm may co-list a property in CVR MLS even if one of the agents is not a member of CVR MLS or CBRAR MLS. The agents must be co-listing the property and be able to produce a co-list listing agreement if audited by our Compliance team.

Co-listings with agents or brokers who are not within your firm and are not members of one of the Virginia MLS Cooperative MLSs are still ineligible for submission.
