We just returned from a trip to Stockholm and Copenhagen, which Joyce helped us put together for a quick seven-day trip. Turned out to be the perfect time of year, late September, early October. The weather was beautiful. The two hotels we stayed in were gorgeous and right in the center of town: Grand Hotel and the Nimb, easily accessible by train, bus, taxi, and foot. We walked as much as one of our broken legs would allow and managed to see just about all the highlights of each of these two beautiful Scandinavian cities; Joyce arranged a quick option for a private car to accommodate the injury while enjoying incredible food and very interesting sites.
