Summer is right around the corner, which means more free time for the things you love, like learning for the pure joy of it!
Did you know that you can still enjoy OLLI's online programs after they're over? OLLI at MSU events (like Friday Forums and other free to the public events) are easy to access from the OLLI Recordings Page.
If you were too busy during the spring to enjoy some of our Side Trip lectures, courses, or twentieth anniversary programs, you can still see any of the online ones now! Just call the OLLI office to register, and the recording appears right away on your personal recordings page.
I hope you find time to sate your curiosity between hikes.

Centennial Valley and Red Rock Lakes Travel Program
If you enjoy exploring the outdoors and learning about remote areas of Montana, then this trip is for you. Bill West and others will guide Centennial Valley participants as we tour, walk and discover this picturesque area. We will meet some people who live on and manage local cattle ranches, like the Centennial Valley Association's Range Riders. We will also meet Montana Nature Conservancy managers and the Red Rock Lakes National Wildlife Refuge. Join us for this small group hands-on experience, and enjoy home-cooked meals and cozy lodging.

Tippet Rise Introduction, June 14. Face-to-face. Learn about this one-of-a-kind outdoor sculpture reserve in remote south-central Montana. Free and open to the public. This program is offered in collaboration with the Museum of the Rockies.

Prelude and Performance
What does it take to organize a production with a full orchestra, a company of dancers, unique choreography, costumes and more? Raison D'etre Dance Project will open its doors to OLLI at MSU on June 5 for a live rehearsal of their June performance of Rachmaninov + Plutonia. After the rehearsal, enjoy a Q&A about the production, choreography, costumes, the company, and more!
OLLI and MSU Retiree Association members who attend will receive a discount toward the upcoming Raison D'etre performance.
Location: Reynolds Recital Hall, Howard Hall, MSU. Please note that parking is free after 6 p.m. in the Bobcat lots.

OLLI is seeking a seasoned and skilled writer to work with Bobbi and other volunteers to help co-author a fun and informative public column on topics and research surrounding aging well. Interested in learning more? Please reply to this email or call the OLLI office at 406-994-6550.

Paying it Forward
In last week’s presentation on The Happiest People, we learned that one of the top 5 factors that influence happiness is by making opportunities to “pay it forward.”
OLLI at MSU members and volunteers did just that two weeks ago at our local Fork & Spoon Community Café. We had the opportunity to experience this unique pay-what-you-can restaurant. OLLI members also learned how HRDC is helping to meet a variety of needs in our community, from housing to food insecurity and healthcare to employment development and other issues.
During our special evening program at the Fork & Spoon, our OLLI volunteers served almost 150 dinners, twice as many as an average evening. They helped bring in over $1,200 in donations on a Tuesday. As a reference point, they received $37.05 in donations the Monday before.
It was a very successful, educational and social evening shared by all. Thank you to our OLLI volunteers, diners, and our community café for helping make Bozeman such a special and caring community.
