Panj Shabd and the Glandular System

Yogi Bhajan taught the Panj Shabd mantra in a number of different kriyas. In a July 8, 1979 lecture, click here to read the full lecture, he teaches about the effects of 'Sa Ta Na Ma' on the glandular system.

 

"Basically glands are the guardians of health and in the world of simple acknowledged affairs, this brain is a big gland because the main gland in the brain which is a pituitary, it has impulsation, clockwise impulsation and it secretes HL (LH) secretion which controls through that the entire function of all the glandular system...With Sa Ta Na Ma meditation we have increased a tremendous amount of secretion of HL (LH) in through the pituitary gland which were amazingly, abnormally recognizable."

 

Using the Panj Shabd to work on the glandular system, Yogi Bhajan taught the powerful Meditation for Healing Addictions. He explains, "Since the pituitary regulates the rest of the glandular system, the entire body and mind go out of balance. This meditation corrects the problem. It is excellent for everyone, but particularly effective for rehabilitation efforts in drug dependence, mental illness, and phobic conditions.
