It challenges us to reach beyond our comfort zones to embrace innovation, equity, and collaboration. It urges us to remember the important work of those who have laid the foundations that guide our field and the communities we serve. It empowers us to reclaim and embrace our vital roles as stewards of culture, memory, and progress in a rapidly changing world.

Crafted by SEMC leadership and stakeholders through a reflective process, this strategic plan affirms our commitment to supporting museums of all sizes and disciplines, fostering leadership at every level, and ensuring SEMC remains a dynamic force for connection and growth.
