Here's what you need to know:

Elementary Students (grades 1-5)

Registration: Beginning May 4, registration will open for elementary students. Those who have already enrolled will be assigned to their grade-specific class. You may log in May 4 to accept your child's enrollment in the class. Register at sps.org/Explore.

Courses: Students will be enrolled in National Park Adventure, which is an engaging, month-long course that will allow students to virtually explore four of America's most popular national parks--Yellowstone, the Everglades, the Grand Canyon and Hawaii Volcanoes. The action-packed content is designed to allow students to work their way through targeted, grade-level science, social studies, math and reading instruction as well as fine arts and physical education activities.

Middle School Students (grades 6-8)

Registration: Beginning May 4, registration will open for middle school students. Those who have already enrolled will be assigned to the online equivalent of the classes they selected. You may log in May 4 to accept your child's enrollment. Register at sps.org/Explore.

Courses: Students will be able to choose from the following online classes: Escape, Game On, Operation Innovation, Outdoor University, Health, Physical Education, remediation classes in core content areas and online academies.

High School Students (grades 9-12)

Registration: High school students may continue to enroll now through Launch for their online classes. If a student has already enrolled in a seated course, the student will be contacted directly to discuss alternative course selections. Register now.

Courses: There are more than 80 online courses from which to choose.
