Exploring "Childhood 2.0"
A Discussion About the Cellphone in Your Child's Hand and How to Keep Them Safe Online
All parents & educators are invited to join a free 3-part series offered by local Education Service Center Region 12.
As parents today, some of us did not grow up with access to the Internet. Even for those of us who did, the prevalence of devices and social media apps is much more complex and ever-increasing. While we may be keenly aware of dangerous internet predators and bullies, cyber safety is something we often don't know how to combat. We aren't even comfortable talking about it with each other, much less our kids!
Let's work together to keep our children and students safe online!
October is Cybersecurity Month, and we want to help inform educators and parents to take action. We are hosting a free webinar with counseling professionals for parents and educators. The webinar series will provide discussion and takeaway strategies based on the YouTube Documentary "Childhood 2.0."

During our 3-part discussion, you will discover:

  • Resources to help combat cyber dangers
  • Best practices for using technology responsibly
  • How technology impacts children's mental health and behavior
  • Discussion tools for approaching conversations about cyber safety
All parents & educators are invited to join us for free!
