Provides grants for infrastructure and workforce development initiatives that support Maryland’s economic competitiveness, foster economic opportunity for all and accelerate growth of emerging and advanced industries in the State.

Laurel Thrive Small Business Grant

Funding Amount: $10,000 
Specifically for businesses located (or moving) within the City of Laurel, this grant provides foundational capital for new businesses to expand and hire. It is awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so early application is highly recommended.

Buy Maryland Cybersecurity (BMC) Tax Credit

Funding Amount: 50% of purchase price (up to $50,000 credit for the buyer)
Qualified Maryland Companies may claim a tax credit for 50% of the net purchase price of cybersecurity technologies and services purchased from a Qualified Maryland Cybersecurity Seller.
