Du 21 janvier au 4 mars, Le Centre accueillera les oeuvres photographiques de l'artiste Catherine Babault. L'exposition présentera des portraits intimes de la faune et de la flore, ainsi que les paysages sauvages de la Côte Ouest. À l'aide de la lumière naturelle, Catherine met l'emphase sur les détails et les textures présents dans la nature pour capturer des images absolument uniques. À travers son travail, Catherine espère attirer notre attention sur la beauté et la diversité de nos écosystèmes, leurs fragilités et qu'il ne tient qu'à nous de les préserver.

From January 21 to March 4, Le Centre will host an exhibition of the photographic works of Catherine Babault, featuring the artist’s intimate portraits of the natural landscapes and the flora and fauna of the West Coast. Using natural light, Catherine focuses on the details and textures of nature to capture images that are unequivocally unique. In her work, Catherine’s aim is to draw our attention to the beauty and diversity of our ecosystems, their fragility, and to what extent they rely on us to ensure their preservation. 
Catherine Babault est une photographe de la nature basée sur l'île de Vancouver et lauréate de deux prix nationaux. Amenée à être sur le terrain régulièrement, Catherine met un point d'honneur à ne pas déranger la nature. Elle n'interfère pas avec l'habitat des animaux sauvages, ne les appâte pas et ne les harcèle pas. Elle ne détruit pas non plus les plantes. Également auteure, elle a publié un livre de photos intitulé "Vancouver Island Wildlife, a photo journey", un voyage au coeur de la faune et la flore de l'île de Vancouver. Photographer Catherine Babault is a nature photographer based on Vancouver Island and she is the recipient of two national awards. As her work regularly takes her out into the field, Catherine makes it a point of honour not to disturb nature. She does not interfere with the habitat of wild animals, does not lure them with bait, and never harasses them. She does not destroy any vegetation. Catherine is also the author of a published book of photography entitled "Vancouver Island Wildlife, a photo journey", which takes us into the heart of the animal and plant life of Vancouver Island.
