Here's the Big News We've Been Hinting At!
ExquisiCare began with a vision to "Transform the Culture of Long Term Care" in Canada. And Dawn has always believed that we should not be institutionalizing our parents! The intent has always been to grow beyond our 3 homes in Edmonton, however, growing ExquisiCare and Care at Home to the scale she envisioned was going to be difficult without a partner.

Which is why we are so excited to share that ExquisiCare Inc. and Care At Home by ExquisiCare Inc. has been acquired by SE Health.

SE Health is a trusted health care provider and not-for-profit social enterprise that has been caring for Canadians for more than a century. Their belief to bring hope and happiness through that feeling of home is in perfect alignment with our vision of love, family and reverence. Through the small home model, SE Health is looking to provide new housing and care options that provide purposeful living to elders across the country.

Now is the time to expand nationally and we feel that SE Health is the partner we need to make this happen!

Honouring our Residents at ExquisiCare
At the entrance of each home, you will find a very special book. In this book there is a highlight of our residents, both past and present.
Our elders have given so much to the communities and they deserve to be honoured and commended for their years of hard work. These books of highlights lets us do just that. As we get to know them a little bit better we also grow to love them more.
Windermere Manor
Terry grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan with his mother and sister while his father worked on the railroad.
With his beautiful wife, Irene, and their two children, Terry has lived in various parts of the world - from the Canadian prairies to Texas and back again. Terry is so very proud of his children and his five grandchildren! Their cabin at the lake has been a large part of their lives and provides many happy memories and comfort for Terry.
Graduating from the University of Saskatchewan, his career path led him to manage Dow Chemical. Terry had a successful career as a Chemical Engineer. He speaks fondly of this time in his life.
After retirement, Terry completed a Certified Financial planning course simply because he enjoyed it. He also got serious about baking and became involved in various sports. Anything his grandchildren could talk him into, he went forward with ambition and an honest effort.
At our Windermere home, you will find Terry participating in the walking program, dancing up a storm, having some quiet time reading a paper in the sun or visiting with family.
Terry has an amazing ability to make anyone feel heard, accepted, and welcome.
We are so thankful to be able to join Terry and his wonderful family on his life journey.
