New For 2014:
In an effort to keep meeting costs low and to give members exciting new choices we have made the following changes to this year's meeting:
  • The business meeting will not provide free lunch to those who attend (to include Ex-Com members).  We hope that this does not inconvenience anyone and encourages you to provide input to the Ex-Com members concerning chapter business and meetings.
  • The business lunch will be Friday March 28th at Rio City Cafe  at 1110 Front Street in Old Town Sacramento.
Pre-Conference Activities

Prior to the start of the conference, on Thursday, March 27, 2014 we have an excellent group of Continuing Education classes available.

Classes include a full day session on Applied Genetic Techniques, or half day sessions covering CEQA, Section 7 Consultation, and Section 10 and 4(d) rule issues.

In addition, a half day Hatchery Forum and a tour of Nimbus Fish Hatchery will be available for those who sign up early enough.

These Continuing Education sessions are designed to help practicing professionals expand and retain their knowledge, and provide a way for students and professionals to learn new subjects. Click here to register.

The poster session will be Thursday evening, following the continuing education courses.  Student poster juudging will begin at 6pm. If you would like to volunteer to judge posters please contact Tom Keegan. Thomas.Keegan@aecom.com

There will be welcome student social Thursday evening following the poster session at Joe's Crab Shack in Old Sacramento, accross the street from the Embassy Suites.
