Dear NYC Principals and Administrators,
We have received many inquiries recently regarding EU/External User accounts. See below for a brief FAQ:
What is an External User (EU) account?
The legacy NPSIS Portal was retired on March 27, 2024. All users must now access the new NPSIS portal using their EU credentials. This in effect will replace your old NPSIS ID.
Why Do I Need a DOE External User Account?
All staff requiring access to DOE applications must log in using their DOE-issued External User (EU) credentials.
These credentials are necessary for:
- NPSIS
- Office of School Food Applications
- Office of Pupil Transportation Applications
- Office of Nonpublic and Charter Schools
- DOE SupportHub for Tickets for device and student transportation support
How do I obtain a NPSIS/External User account?
NPSIS/External User accounts are created upon request. To set up an account, please contact ONPSData@schools.nyc.gov, and include the following information:
- School name and address
- Location code
- Principal’s contact details
