It has been a long time since I have reached out via email to all of you. I hope you are well and enjoying your spring...
I have had a busy fall and winter. And with spring comes all new things - and that is very true for me.
You may have heard, I am running for Governor in the Democratic primary (June 2018). We recently launched and the response has been phenomenal.

You, me, us - we're tired of the same old, same old. The system is
not working for us. The way in which campaigns have been run with their nastiness and vitriol is contributing to the negativity we feel. As a result, many strong leaders with great ideas don't run because they will not subject themselves and their families to the treatment most candidates get.
I am running to change all of that. I will conduct my campaign in a positive way - bringing out the best in Maine people, highlighting the amazing things that are happening in our great state.
You and I know that
what we focus on is what we get more of.
I want more joy, more hope, more positive energy in politics. That's one of the reasons I am running. I will run this campaign from the SweetSpirit perspective!
I am running as a "Clean Elections," publicly funded candidate. No big donors, no special interest money, no PACS.
I answer only to Maine people, our collective values and vision, and my own integrity.
Change is possible.
