URGENT!

FOSTERS & DONATIONS NEEDED TO SUPPORT ANIMALS FROM THE DEVASTATING FIRES!

Pasadena Humane Society is bursting at the seams with animals brought in by those evacuating due to the fires, and stray animals that were left behind.

Social Compassion is assisting Pasadena Humane by gathering information from potential foster homes. Fosters will be needed in the upcoming weeks.

If you are in the Southern California area and are able to foster ANY number of animals, even one animal, YOU WILL BE NEEDED!

We will need fosters for dogs, cats, rabbits, goats, and other species. If you can foster, please email:

Please give us the following information:

1. Your full name
2. The address where you will be fostering
3. Your phone number
4. What species of animal you can foster
5. How many animals you can foster
6. How long of a period of time you can foster
7. Any other information that may be useful to us regarding the help you can provide

We will be coordinating with Pasadena Humane and either they or us, Social Compassion, will get back to you with instructions on next steps if you are needed.

In addition, Social Compassion is helping many other rescue efforts. We need volunteer veterinarians, RVTs, and certified animal rescuers - if you are willing to donate your time and services, please email us as well at:

Lastly, we are in need of donations for fostering, boarding, transporting, supplies, medical, and other needs to support our rescue efforts.
