The Amazing Johnathan
January 27-29
The Amazing Johnathan is an eccentric comic magician whose bizarre humor and unscripted antics have earned him widespread recognition as one of the most original and unique performers today. His DVD Wrong On Every Level is the latest example to prove this point. The Las Vegas Review-Journal has given Amazing Johnathan much praise, by including him on the coveted "Best of Las Vegas" list in the "Best Show" category, and also awarding him "Best Comedian of the Year" for 2002 and nominating him in 2003. Most recently, Amazing Johnathan was recognized as "Best Local Villain" by the Las Vegas Weekly Reader's Choice Awards in 2004 and 2005. He is also a two-time winner of the International Magic Award for "Best Comedy Magician."
Starting his professional career as a street performer in San Francisco, Johnathan turned his boyhood hobby of magic into a full-time job. After polishing his act on Fisherman's Wharf in the late '70's, he moved onto nightclubs and colleges in the '80's.During the last 25-plus years of his career, Amazing Johnathan has appeared on numerous television shows including Comedy Central's Lounge Lizard and Premium Blend shows, F/X's The X Show, Fox's Comic Strip Live, The Arsenio Hall Show, HBO's Young Comedians Special, Late Night with David Letterman, Entertainment Tonight and The Wayne Brady Show, as well as television specials such as NBC's World's Greatest Magic II and The World's Wildest Magicians, ABC's Caesars Palace 30th Anniversary Special, Fox's Champions of Magic, Comedy Central Presents, American Airlines' CBS Eye on America, the Travel Channel's Amazing Vacation Homes, and The Greatest Magic Tricks In the Universe...Ever on England's Ch. 5 UK.Despite making regular appearances on national television shows, his live shows are what Amazing Johnathan thrives on. He has literally destroyed audiences and stages with a style that has been described as a cross between Steve Martin and Alice Cooper. With his impulsive, raw humor and abrasive wit, he keeps audiences on the edge of their seats while exhibiting spontaneous magic and showcasing impressive special effects.Amazing Johnathan is performing at the Sahara Hotel & casino for an indefinite engagement, appearing in the 550-seat Congo Room where legendary comedians including Johnny Carson, George Burns and Buddy Hackett have performed.
The Amazing Johnathan Show has added new material but still showcases the same impulsive, bizarre humor and abrasive wit that has earned him widespread critical acclaim. Amazing Johnathan has also dragged his wacky assistant of more than five years, Psychic Tanya, with him to the Sahara Hotel & Casino. The energetic and uproarious blonde supports his act with silly banter and spontaneous hilarity resulting in a comic partnership that adds a hysterical spark to Amazing Johnathan's already off-the-wall production.

Jim Breuer
February 10-12
A stand-up comedian since his high school days at Valley Stream Central High School in Valley Stream, NY, Jim Breuer worked in comedy clubs around the country for several years before deciding to become a regular on the New York comedy club circuit.
After being in New York for only seven months, he landed a gig on the nationally syndicated show, "Uptown Comedy Club," where he spent two seasons. In 1995, Jim joined NBC's "Saturday Night Live," becoming best known for his original character "Goat Boy" and his impression of actor Joe Pesci. After a four-year stint on "SNL," Jim starred in the movie "Half Baked" alongside Dave Chappelle.
That summer, MTV also invited the comedian to co-host the popular show "MTV's Beach House." Additional appearances include numerous stints on NBC's "Late Night with Conan O'Brien," as well as roles in several movies, such as "Dick" (1999), "Once in the Life" (2000), "Beer League (2006)" and most recently "The Zookeeper" (2011) with Kevin James.
Jim Breuer pioneered the "heavy-metal comedy" revolution, combining his love of rock 'n' roll with comedy. Backed by a full band, Jim continues to entertain packed crowds with his impressions of AC/DC's Brian Johnson and Metallica singing "If You're Happy and You Know It." Jim's "Heavy Metal Man" comedy tours also feature a mix of routines that have become cult favorites, such as "The Wizard," "Coming Home at 4 a.m." and "Party in the Stomach." It was this act that garnered him one of Comedy Central's "100 Greatest Stand-Ups of All Time."
In 2009, Jim's one-hour Comedy Central special "Let's Clear the Air" premiered, with hilarious topics that included what "success" really is, Jim's SNL days and life with his elderly parents, his wife and his three daughters. "Let's Clear the Air" ranked in as one of the highest rated comedy specials on Comedy Central racking in 1 million viewers, of which an astounding 100% watched from beginning to end.
Jim continues touring into 2010 and his book, "I'm Not High (But I've Got a Lot of Crazy Stories about Life as a Goat Boy, a Dad, and a Spiritual Warrior)," is available for pre-order. The book contains stories ranging from his childhood and growing up, to his parents' lives, starting his career, hilarious behind the scene SNL stories, growing a family while on the road and his future ventures.
