As recently reported, Governor DeSantis has expanded COVID-19 vaccine eligibility Floridians under 65 deemed extremely medically vulnerable by a physician. CLICK HERE to download the form required to confirm the determination of extreme vulnerability - just released by the state today. Eligible residents as of today include:
Long-term care facility residents and staff;
Persons 65 years of age and older;
Persons under 65 deemed extremely medically vulnerable by a physician*;
Health care personnel with direct patient contact;
K-12 school employees 50 years of age and older;
Sworn law enforcement officers 50 years of age and older; and
Firefighters 50 years of age and older
* Vaccines for this group may only be administered by any Florida licensed physician, advanced practice registered nurse, or pharmacist.
