In January, we met first grader Josiah. He's worn glasses before, so Eye Thrive optometrist Dr. Lampe conducted his annual comprehensive eye exam on-board the Mobile Vision Clinic to evaluate his eye health and update his prescription.

Josiah picked out frames for his new glasses with Dawnita, and Brandon fit them to his face after making them in our on-board lab.

We saw nothing but smiles from Josiah through the whole process, which takes under an hour from start to finish!

We have had a great start to the new year! With our new EMR system up and running on the Mobile Vision Clinic, tracking patient data and reporting on our impact is a much simpler process. In January, we:

• conducted 1,364 vision screenings.
• provided 388 eye exams.
• dispensed 464 pairs of glasses.
• delivered 201 pairs of replacements.
