UNC Microbiology and Immunology Ph.D. candidate, speaker, and author of The Mindful Ph.D. journal, Danielle Williams, will lead participants through a series of activities to guide graduate students through ways to incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion into their every day routines as graduate students. 

Duke Next Generation Leaders Symposium


June 7 • 9 a.m.-5 p.m.


This event will bring together a cohort of promising postdoctoral scientists committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the biomedical sciences. The day will include research presentations with a reception to follow. Open to all in the Duke community. Register by May 24.

"National Chats for Change" is a monthly webinar designed to facilitate important discussions around EDI on a national level and is provided through Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai. It's available to anyone interested and generally meets from 12:00-1:00pm EST.
