Spiritual Voyages: Abstract Paintings by Eduardo Lapetina

In celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month, ¡DALHE! is highlighting the work of a local Latiné/Hispanic artist, Eduardo Lapetina. The pieces of work will be displayed in the Duke Eye Center Concourse Gallery beginning 8/20/24 through 10/30/24.

Title IX

Title IX is a federal law that prohibits sex discrimination in Duke programs and activities. Now in effect, the regulations contain new requirements for how university staff and faculty must respond to certain allegations of discrimination and harassment, as well as to student disclosures of pregnancy. Please review this message and video from Office for Institutional Equity (OIE) highlighting the new protocols.

Celebrating Duke Health's Affinity Groups for Duke's Centennial

The continued centennial celebration shines light on Juntos Affinity Group during September. Juntos provides a safe space for Hispanic/Latinx team members to feel seen, heard, and valued. In addition to creating a space for connection, the group focuses on promoting opportunities for mentorship, sponsorship, and career development as it raises awareness of the social, economic, and health disparities experienced by the Hispanic/Latinx community.
