Influenza Activity Has Begun to Increase in Orange County
Influenza Update:
  • Locally, influenza activity has increased in recent weeks. At the State level, influenza activity is increasing in southern and central California.
  • The most frequently identified influenza virus type reported by Orange County Public Health Laboratory was influenza A(H1N1)pdm09 virus.
  • No influenza-associated deaths in persons under the age of 65 years have been reported to Orange County Public Health so far this season.
