President's Report

President Goldenberg stated that Ahmed Shehata is joining the NJSBOE for the first time in his new role as a State Board member. She stated Mr. Shehata resides in Union County and is Assistant

Superintendent of Business, Clifton Public Schools. She further stated his term expires in 2029.

President Goldenberg noted Mr. Shehata brings a great deal of knowledge and experience to this

board, and she looks forward to his contributions.

Adoption Resolutions

Resolution to Accept Donated Funds

The State Board adopted the resolution approving the acceptance of donated funds, pursuant to N.J.S.A. 18A:4-26.

Resolution to Amend State Board of Education Public Testimony Procedures

The State Board adopted the resolution amending current public testimony procedures.

Resolution to Approve Appointments to the State Board of Examiners

The State Board adopedt the resolution approving the reappointments and appointment(s) to the State Board of Examiners in accordance with N.J.S.A. 18A:6-34 and 35.
